Bitmain designs and manufactures application-specific machines for proof-of-work chains and sells them under the Antminer badge. Its corporate page, consulted on 8 August 2026, dates the business to 2013, claims customers in more than 100 countries and territories, and lists research centres in Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen and Singapore. Very little else on the main domain renders without scripting, so this entry leans on the few pages that do.

The published timeline is really a record of joules per terahash, which is the number deciding whether a machine survives the next difficulty rise. The S9 landed in 2016 around 100, the S17 in 2019 near 40, the S19 in 2020 near 30, the S19 XP in 2021 near 20 and the S21 family in 2023 near 10. In 2025 the S23 Hyd took the measure into single digits; 2026 brought the S23e U2H and the ANTSPACE HW7 hydro container.

Repair provision is described in three routes: an advance replacement scheme, sending a unit in for service, and on-site attendance. Under the replacement option, backed by either a deposit or credit, the manufacturer says it despatches a substitute from a regional spare-parts warehouse within one to two working days of confirming despatch details, without waiting for the faulty unit to arrive. It also advertises round-the-clock response and regional hub warehouses. No warranty duration appears on the pages available.

Delivery is where a domestic buyer usually gets caught out, and the clearest logistics commitment here belongs to a different product. Its turnkey hosting offer promises door-to-door freight and customs clearance into the destination country, constant asset monitoring and availability of up to 99 per cent, with referral coupons of 10,000 dollars per megawatt for air-cooled capacity and 20,000 for water-cooled, valid three months. Import a single unit on your own account and duty, freight and clearance remain entirely yours.

Two familiar names are no longer part of this business. Antpool, launched in 2014, has been independent since May 2021, and BTC.com, launched in 2015, since January 2021. Manufacturing computing equipment is not regulated financial activity either, so this maker holds no authorisation from any financial supervisor and needs none; judge it on efficiency, lead times and how close its nearest workshop sits.
