📋 How we collect reviews

On KiwiReviews any user can write a review about a business. The process is:

Email verification — Users must verify their email with a 6-digit code before publishing. This ensures that every review is linked to a real person.

Human review — All reviews are personally reviewed by our team before being published. We reject fake reviews, spam, offensive content or content not based on a real experience. No review is published automatically.

Anti-fraud detection — In addition to human review, our automated system analyzes each review for suspicious patterns: duplicate IPs, newly created accounts, company self-reviews, etc. Suspicious reviews are flagged for extra review.

Publication — Approved reviews are published and the company is notified so they can respond publicly.

✅ Types of reviews

✓ Verified Review with proof of use

The user has attached proof that they actually used the service: screenshot, purchase ticket, transaction receipt, etc. Our team reviews the proof before the review can appear as "Verified".

Standard Review without proof

The user has verified their email but has not attached proof of use. The review still goes through manual moderation and anti-fraud detection. We reject any review that does not appear to be based on a real experience.

Attaching proof is not required, but verified reviews have more credibility and weight in the company's ranking.

❌ Fake or fabricated reviews
❌ Reviews written by the company itself
❌ Spam or covert advertising
❌ Offensive or defamatory content
❌ Purchased or incentivized reviews
❌ Impersonation

💬 Right of reply

All businesses can publicly respond to the reviews they receive. This allows them to share their side of the story and resolve issues transparently.

Businesses can sign up or contact us to claim their profile and access management tools.

🛡️ Independence

KiwiReviews is an independent platform. No business can pay to remove negative reviews or to improve its score. Replying to reviews, verification and stats are free for every business. The paid plan only buys visibility, never score or moderation.

When a business appears as "Featured" or there is sponsored content, it is always clearly indicated with the corresponding label.
