Its own terms are blunt: residents of Mainland China, Hong Kong, the United States, Singapore, the United Kingdom, Canada, the Netherlands, Spain and France are barred from the global platform — while the same homepage says "Pionex's services are available globally". Its disclaimer goes further: "Pionex is not licensed in any jurisdiction as a broker, financial advisor…" and warns you may not recover your assets "if our business fails".

The corporate structure earns its own paragraph: the operator is "Marketa Trading Inc." — country of incorporation unpublished, disputes arbitrated in Belize — with the terms explicitly stating that "neither Pionex Pte. Ltd. nor Pionex Inc. is a Pionex Operator". Meanwhile the separate pionex.us, run by Pionex.US Inc. with NMLS #2284360 and state money-transmitter licences (Alaska: denied), appears frozen: its footer says © 2022 and its licence page hasn't been dated since June 2022.
