Exchange and miner flows, priced across four widening rungs
CryptoQuant is organised around flows. Its shelf of headline charts leads with Exchange Reserve for all venues, total miner outflow, derivatives funding rates, net unrealised profit and loss, and coin-age bands, which tells you where the product's attention sits: balances entering and leaving trading venues, and payouts leaving mining operations. Figures published on its own site on 8 August 2026 give 600 million labelled addresses, upwards of 120 exchanges covered and more than ten networks supported.
Four retail rungs are advertised, at the annual rate. Basic costs nothing and is genuinely thin: daily granularity, three years of backfill, advanced indicators for Bitcoin only, a single alert and five AI answers a day. Advanced at 29 dollars a month adds block-level granularity, complete chart history, five saved Pro chart layouts, five alerts and removes advertising. Professional at 99 dollars a month opens all assets and advanced metrics, thirty layouts and twenty alerts. Premium sits far above at 799 dollars a month, annual billing only. Institutions are pushed towards a bespoke Enterprise quote covering redistribution rights.
The interesting detail is what the middle rungs withhold. Every retail package, free or paid, carries exactly one seat. The free and 29 dollar rungs issue an API key but throttle it to fifty and one hundred requests a day with only seven days of lookback behind it. Professional loosens that to twenty requests a minute and one year of lookback, still at day granularity. Complete history, block-level API granularity, 800 requests a minute, unrestricted exports and, crucially, permission to use the output at work arrive only at Premium. A two-person shop that needs commercial rights therefore jumps straight from 99 to 799 dollars.
Set expectations correctly about what flow readings are. A falling exchange reserve is a statement about balances in wallets somebody has labelled, not a prediction about tomorrow's candle, and the labels themselves are an interpretation. The firm says as much in section fourteen of its terms, which states the analytics are 'provided for information purposes only' and that CryptoQuant 'is not a financial advisor'.
The copyright line names Team Blackbird Inc., and the terms give a business address at 2035 Unset Lake Road, Suite B-2, Newark, Delaware, with Delaware law governing any dispute. As an analytics provider it takes zero deposits and moves zero customer money, which is why it operates without a financial licence and does not require one. Its charts are widely cited by Forbes, Bloomberg and CNBC, a reasonable proxy for craftsmanship but silent on whether paying suits you.
