Swiss metrics house with a steep, half-hidden price ladder

Glassnode sells derived on-chain metrics rather than raw blockchain tables. Its home page, checked on 8 August 2026, counts 1,700 plus metrics across 1,500 plus assets with more than fifteen years of history, folding spot, futures, options, exchange-traded fund and macro series into the same layer as chain activity. The pricing FAQ narrows the chain side: on-chain ingestion covers eleven blockchains, among them Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, Tron, BNB Chain, Dogecoin, Arbitrum, TON and XRP. Studio is the workspace, with no-code charts, dashboards, threshold alerts and a backtesting mode.

Two self-serve tiers appear on the plan table, both quoted before VAT. Advanced costs 49 dollars a month billed annually and is deliberately narrow: roughly 300 metrics, daily resolution only, four years of history, ten alerts, one seat, a personal-use licence and an API Light capped at fourteen days of history and fifty calls a day. Professional carries zero published figure; the button reads 'Configure'. It unlocks up to 1,500 full-catalogue metrics, up to fifteen years of history, resolution down to ten minutes, 500 alerts, commercial use and credit bundles running from fifty to unlimited a month. If your work needs the API, budget for a sales call rather than a checkout page.

Signal products are priced separately and much higher. Bitcoin Vector with Willy Woo is listed from 749 dollars a month billed quarterly, and a broader Digital Assets Expert's Insights subscription from 1,499 dollars a month. The Vector page advertises a twenty-four month record worth '$206K of edge on a $100K position'. That is the vendor's own presentation of its own model, not an audited result, and it is the single claim on the site we would treat with most caution.

Worth saying plainly: these metrics do not forecast price. They describe settled activity, coins that already moved, supply already sitting in profit, contracts already opened. Glassnode's own wording on Market Compass is unusually candid about this, describing the score as something that 'maps where the market stands, not what to buy or sell'. The rest of the catalogue deserves the same reading.

The operator is Glassnode Services AG, registered at Neuhofstrasse 22 in Baar, Switzerland, with UID CHE-297.410.093 in the Canton Zug commercial register and two named directors in the impressum. The firm spun out of Swissblock. A market-data vendor holds none of your coins and executes none of your orders, so financial licensing simply does not apply to it; the absence of a licence here is ordinary, not a red flag.
